Expanded Bellevue Y and New Boutique Fitness Center in Nashville

The install season of 2011/2012 had it all, from individualized personal training setups to larger facilities and major expansions. Here are summaries of two of our recent installs.

The Bellevue Family YMCA and Fifty Forward J.L. Turner Center underwent a major renovation that took almost a year to complete. The result was worth the wait.

The center has nearly 15,000 members and offers activities for everyone from the toddler to the senior. The center provides equipment orientation, youth strength training, fitness assessment, TRX suspension training, personal training, and group personal training.

The center’s 350 pieces of fitness equipment were provided by Dane Burks & Co. Fitness, which sells and services fitness equipment for all Middle Tennessee YMCAs. Dane Burks & Co. Fitness also buys back and refurbishes for resale Middle Tennessee YMCA fitness equipment.

Leann Fray and Josh Rogers started what they say is Nashville’s first boutique fitness studio. Located near Music Row and the Belmont neighborhood, RESULTS fitness offers personal training and group fitness in an historic house, a setting unlike any fitness facility in Middle Tennessee. The house was originally built in 1925 and was extensively renovated to meet the high expectations of their clientele.

Dane Burks & Co. Fitness furnished RESULTS with state-of-the-art commercial-grade equipment. RESULTS uses Freemotion incline trainers that burn more calories in less time than a standard treadmill and Nautilus functional trainers that offer the versatility of an infinite number of strength-building and sports-specific exercises on one machine.

RESULTS Fitness also offers aerobic training, personal training, group fitness classes, spin classes, BarreAmped Studio, onsite massage therapy, and a personal consultation area. For more information, see their website (http://resultsfitness.me) or contact them at 615.457.3644.
